Yoblazer, you play in such short chunks that it's actually somewhat curious. Just not a lot of time for gaming, or are you really exploring every nook and cranny, or what?
Good question. Combination of a lot of things. When it comes to big games like this (with treasures, secrets, and bonus quests), I love to explore everything. Hell, I feel like I need to do it, as if I'm shortchanging myself if I just charge through. I ran my FFVII clock to 99:99 no problemo. My FFX file is at like 150 hours. My Mass Effect and KotOR runs always take like 30-40 hours because I have to do everything.
I would usually play in longer chunks (when I'm hooked on a game and not busy, I can put in like 12 hours on a lazy Saturday). You're right, I've been busier lately, but that might not be the main reason for these short stints. It may actually be these playthrough topics. They're a lot of fun to do, and I like to make each write-up worthwhile. If I play for ten solid hours before inking my thoughts, I think the writing will lose a lot of quality.
Anyway, I've explored the heck out of South Figaro. An old man is asking for Cider, but I can't seem to get any. Should I just soldier on and worry about it later?
