I hadn't played any traditional jRPG (Pokemon and Kingdom Hearts aside, although I'm not sure if those even count as "traditional") before late 2007, when I tackled FFX.

FFVI (hopefully) - 2011
If I like this one, I may tackle Secret of Mana next. I'm digging the way the SNES handles these jRPGs so far.
