Is there interest in this? I think we can get a group of 10-12 guys and girls (if there are any girls on the internet) again. We'd run from September until the end of November, take a month off for the holidays, and resume in January. People can back out in that month off too, and we'd get some new blood.
Cool? I want to get people who missed out last time, so I'm reserving spots for Not Dave, Lockes, and Zazi if they want in.
Also, I'm interested in organizing a monthly mix exchange. There'd be no limit on how many members we'd have for that. Essentially, anyone interested in joining that month would send me a 40-80 minute mix of untagged music that I'd pass along to someone else involved at random. You would then have two-three weeks to listen and review the music sent to you. It's a neat way to listen to new music, and there's less of a commitment than SotW. If you don't feel like sending a mix in one month, don't. Ideally, we'd have VGM people sending VGM mixes to hip-hop heads and vice versa. I hope there's interest in that one, too.
