also battery life is one thing that people keep knocking on it however it's... actually not terrible. if you cut the brightness down, take off the 3D, and cut the wi-fi, it can suddenly play for 6 hours. only with everything maxed out will you get a 3-4 hour range (even lowering the brightness alone will help a ton). it's certainly better than the current PSP at least. it's not monsterous like the DS was, but it definitely works for potable gaming.
