Also, just have to point out that when it comes to "after school special" storylines nothing does it as well as Boy Meets World.
A couple college buddies and I were watching some of this show just a few weeks back and we came upon an episode about parental abuse. We just sat there silent watching the episode (this is very unusual for us) and processing it all. After it ended we started a discussion on how perfectly this "kids show" handled it. It was a very funny show, but when it's when it gets serious that I love it most.
