55. No Ordinary Family (2010)

That's right, a show that lasted exactly one season made it to 55. I love a good superhero show and this was one. Good enemies, solid and interesting characters, great minor characters, an interesting plot (from what we got of it in 1 season), this show was great. The cast was a great bunch of actors, the show had a good sense of humor, and it actually did a good job of dealing with the family dynamic and the superhero dynamic.
This was a show that hooked me week one and I thouroughly enjoyed the entire season. I was sad to hear it didn't get renewed, and to find out how many people didn't like it (though I honestly don't know why).
54. American Gladiators (1989-1997)

A bunch of in shape normal people (guys and girls) take on fitness people in athletic competition. Officially it is 2 contestants competing with each other and the gladiators are just the testers, but we all know the truth. This show is about watching these guys try and take down the gladiators. Of course, people like me often cheered for the Gladiators (Except Lace, she's horrible). They were these goliaths with cool nicknames who you saw every week and had some pretty distinct personalities.
Nitro was the cocky guy that you always loved seeing lose, but he was really good. Malibu was a surfer who actually wasn't that good and I often just liked laughing when he got beat. Lace was this horrible excuse for a gladiator who often got overpowered by the contestants and was really just an embarrassment. The best part was that you could see Zap and the other really good women often felt the same. Zap was the queen of the Gladiators and was 10 kinds of awesome. Tower was one of my personal favorites and if you got him in one of the circle events you were all but guarenteed to lose. And many more.
The events were great and often really interesting. And the final two games were always fun to watch. The obstacle course race was a great way to make the final decision between contestants, and If I had a bucket list one of the top things on it would be to get a chance on the Assault course. Running from positition to position firing different nerf guns (and eventually just throwing things) while a gladiator fires tennis balls at you from a large gun. It just looked like so much fun.
