#7:

Hopefully. It was a weird day last... Thursday, I think? I know I bumped or played Umineko, but I somehow got distracted when the usual TV topic bump came around. Oh well. Such is life.

#18. Justice League / Justice League Unlimited (2001-2006)
CN, Nostalgia
Choice Song:
- How can I not go with the intro music? IT doesn't get much more kickass than that theme. Plus, unless I'm mistaken, I don't remember any iconic or outstanding soundtracks during the episodes and I don't want to browse the whole afternoon for the perfect scene (that isn't Flash punching Luthiac at light speed). And if I were feeling really chaotic, I'd throw up Batman The Brave & the Bold's Music Meister for kicks (if only I could remember who I thought looked like MM in JLU and when he appeared... there was definitely a gap-toothed redhead with big glasses somewhere in there who may or may not have sung).

Justice League & JLU are the final entries of the Timmverse, DC's long-running animated canonverse that started with Batman: The Animated Series in 1992. All the characters are drawn, voiced, and acted the same or similar to their episodes, especially Batman, Superman, and their villains like Lex Luthor and Joker. It's a legacy show just like DC was all about legacy superheroes. It all starts with a points and just flows outward and forward. Batman and Superman started off the ride, Justice League brought together seven superheroes, and Unlimited brought in a universe of characters.

Now, while I'd definitely rank it on the list just for having Martian Manhunter & Wally West in major roles, and cameos from Booster Gold, Fire, Ice, and others in the JLI, it's up this high because it's got a lot of great story and character writing. This is my highest-ranked cartoon on this list. There's one more I consider Nostalgic, but there's no other animated feature topping this one. This is the best cartoon.
