Agreed so hard. Blows the soundtracks of the rest of the series out of the water IMO.

Agreed. If I made a top ten list of songs from the series, I'd probably have four or five tracks from it. Maybe more. Probably more now that I realize I'd have chapters 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and Final player phase all in contention, along with Alvis' theme and the Thracian army theme (the slower one that appears in one or two of Trabant's dialogue scenes and a bit in FE5, not the enemy phase one that is faster and goofier) and the Verdane army theme.

Is it just me or is Hector basically Lex v2.0? He even looks similar in some of the official art. >_>

Unfortunately he lacks the horse. But yeah, blue haired, blue armored axe wielding tank whose personality largely centers around "let's kick some ass"? Definite resemblance.

I really wish I hadn't known so much about the game before I played it, because it killed some of the intrigue in scenes like this one. That said, Alvis still ended up being probably the most interesting character in any Nintendo game I've ever played, so it didn't turn out too badly.

I had the entire plot spoiled for me ages in advance and I still loved it and rate the big plot twist as one of my all-time favourites. I've said half a dozen times in this topic Alvis is my favourite character in the series so obviously knowing about him in advance didn't ruin it for me.
