That sounds kinda like how 6 was, it had 6 or 7 maps(been a while) and many of them had different rules but a couple were still fun.
One thing I've wondered though, does 8 still have the orb system?(if so what's it like)
never played any with the orb system so I don't know if MP8's candy system is similar or not. Basically you get candies for free by crossing certain spaces, and you can buy them for coins by crossing some other spaces. You use them at the beginning of your turn to get various helpful effects
