They really are, aren't they? ^_^
I saw herons while on a vacay in Florida once. They're really elegant with those long, lanky legs of theirs, and they look so peaceful in the water. Never seen swans outside of a television screen though. :(
How close did you get?
Not close enough worth noting.
When you get as close to the birds as we do at the wildlife center, it's really not impressive anymore :(
We actually had a heron at the center a few months back and yeah, they are so neaaaat <3
