Eh, if one of somebody's favorites are in a match that I'm indifferent to, I usually try to do the same as FD. Just because I don't care, doesn't mean nobody else does. If I hate that favorite, I'm still not going to pick it, nor will I pick it over something that I actually like. But, having been on the receiving end of all my favorites being killed right off the bat, it makes it more enjoyable for everyone if you throw someone a bone every once in a while.
