because it's already declined a lot from season one to season two and it wasn't doing well even the first season. It just has a pretty large internet fanbase.
I hope you're talking ratings-wise and not in quality. Season 2 had some pretty amazing episodes, like the clip show and bottle episode. And many more!
Personally I found Season Two quite good but more inconsistent than Season One. My favorite and my least favorite Community episodes are Season Two episodes. They certainly took a lot more risks, but not all of them succeeded.
The D&D episode and the bottle episode are personal favorites, though.
