Well I was just going off the idea that Noel is Mu-12. I don't see how those could be a robots if that's the case. But I don't pay any attention to the story in that, just play multiplayer.
Noel is also a replica. When in contact with Nu-13 she becomes automatized just like her.
My doubt comes from the actual "material" from which they are made. Nu-13 has an AI for sure though,
