If it was Big Show, I can see a hilarious sequence of events where the ref completely ignores blatant disqualifying events, every superstar over 240 pounds comes out from the back and wrestle Big Show to the ground and, like, sit on him and then the ref does the 3 count.

This is the most likely solution, ultimately. Why they would leave immediately after winning makes no sense, but it's the quickest cleanest way to start over.
