Hey, I was weighing a theoretical scenario in my mind, I'm curious what everyone thinks would happen.

A random wrestler in a MITB ladder match is set to have a spot where they slowly meander to the middle of the ring and slowly climb a ladder before somebody stops him.

This random wrestler, however, has a contract that's expiring in a few weeks and due to rarely being on TV (and jobbing when he is) doesn't see himself being re-signed. So, he sees the opportunity to stick it to the WWE: instead of doing everything slowly, he races in and up the ladder, and grabs the briefcase before anyone can react or comprehend what is happening. Suddenly you have a no-name soon-to-be-endeavoured shlub with a championship contract.

What would the WWE response be? I'd assume he'd be fired on the spot but what would happen in kayfabe? You can't announec that so and so was fired because they went off-script....

What kayfabe reason would they give for the person leaving with a MITB contract in hand?
Would they do a repeat ladder match on the next Raw/Smackdown or the next PPV?
Or would they just pretend there's no MITB contract, like, forget the match ever happened and we never see that person on tv again?
Does everyone need to sign contracts before PPVs ensuring they won't do such-and-such otherwise they'd be sued for breach of contract?
.....is there one person in a truck with his finger hovering over a button to raise the MITB briefcase, not unlike the briefcase in the McMahons vs. Austin ladder match at KOTR '99?
