well things are sucking right now because the judge I work for died yesterday. he came to work yesterday as usual, seemed perfectly fine. he was editing a draft with one of the other clerks, telling her that he needed to finish up quickly because he had lunch in 20 minutes with the other judges, etc. then he suddenly clutched his chest and went unresponsive. she called 911 but it was too late.
so, uh, yeah
how're things with you
daaaaamn
well i haven't had my manager assassinated by devious coworkers under the guise of lunch that's for sure
i am reading a book (thinking in systems, i think it's called) for the first time since moving; hadn't done so in a while since i have no doorman and it would be a pain to go to the post office to pick up ordered books. also, while looking up my favorite anime EDs yesterday (cowboy bebop, samurai champloo, fma), i got suddenly and painfully nostalgic.
any other career changes before the event described above? i see that up until now you've worked for the same guy, which makes it seem like it's been a while in a similar position. i'm guessing career progression isn't exactly instantaneous in the field you're in, but have there been opportunities? plans? any non-work-related lifestyle changes?
