I assume they're alright with that considering how much he does things like that.

I am pretty sure he is one of those people. The media prep guy's job is not to understand wrestling.when WWE is an entertainment company in Vince's mind. The reason for all these silly, contrived terms like "superstars" and "WWE Universe" are because the people in charge of this kind of thing are not interested in wrestling.
