1. You used to be right. I have no way of proving to you on this subject or not, but as recently as a few years ago you would have had me pegged. I suppose when thinking about your motivations for things it is hard to always be sure of why you do stuff but I post on board 8 now because 100% I enjoy it. I don't think I need any attention I get here. Maybe you see something correctly that I do not.
2. Oh please, I've been doing topics like this since I got here, spun both ways. That surely can't be a "win UotY campaign!" Also Doom was started over a year ago, and after awhile I just wanted to not fail a board 8 writing project for once. I got sick of seeing all of my ideas purge because of my short attention span. I never once, in seriousness, said Doom was for popularity because the thought never entered my mind as I wrote. I wouldn't be able to write something for that reason. I did it because I found a voice and it was evil and liked to kill Pokemon.
