I see. So all in all- assuming Yellow is identical in both regions- here's the complete list of original Pokemon games:
Green/Red (JPN) -> Blue (JPN) -> Red/Blue (International) -> Yellow (JPN/International)
Four iterations, six games!
It's almost like a Street Fighter game, isn't it? :P
