NXT
3/3/12

Pre-show: Edwards spurns Alicia and Tamina (58); Otungacutty d. Havana Pitbulls (46); Slater and Cap’n Petey say YES a lot (52)

-McMahon is out to inform us that Sonjay Dutt has been badly injured at the hands of Barrett and Daivari. He should be good to go soon, but he’s been pulled from MitB, leaving a spot open! Barrett and Daivari are instantly there to plead Daivari’s case, but Dutt and Parka come out to complain. Vince does take offense to injuring his talent, but also admires Daivari’s initiative. Daivari/Parka for the spot tonight.
Rating: 57

-Match: Gabriel/Whitmer v. Slater/Williams
Slater and Gabriel are pretty evenly matched, but Williams is able to wrestle circles around Whitmer.
Rating: 62

-MitB Qualifier: Parka v. Daivari
Fueled by RIGHTEOUS FURY and chairshots, Parka manages to actually win a match!
Rating: 53

-Drew Mac is here to call out some action. Colt’s out...he beat a main roster guy last week, and he’ll do it again. Drew, however, is the CHOSEN ONE, and reminds us of that.
Rating: 46

-Match: Colt v. Drew
bluh bluh colt wins
Rating: 39
Awful chem

-Match: Show v. Edwards
Edwards is not quite up to this task, but holds his own for a while.
Rating: 67

-Mordecai tries to sneak attack Show, but gets KO PAWNCH’d.
Rating: 50

-Match: Orton/Rollins v. Reks/Hawkins
RKO wins the day here.
Rating: 67

Post-show: Henry tries and fails to crash the celebration (77); Air Boom d. Mordecai/Barrett (45)

Overall: 63 lol angles Mordecai overused

FROM THE BOOKERMAN

-PARKA IS NOW A MIDCARDER

-...And Gabriel is ME while Slater has fallen to midcard. That could screw up the US Title picture a bit. >_>

-Man, I just can’t get anywhere with Colt. :\

NEWSWIRE

-We’ve heard that Ricky Reyes is in violation of the wellness policy for steroids.

-Impact went rapidly downhill from the excellent opening tag match, ending with an underwhelming J. Hardy/Storm bout that left the show with a disappointing 70.

SMACKDOWN
3/3/12

Pre-show: Chavo promo (93); Mordecai/Husky d. Usos (54); Gail gonna beat Beth at Mania (71)

-Awesome Truth are out to start the show. They’re glad Taker saw things their way, but taking out Laurinitis was just TOO FAR. Anyway, Taker’s old, he’s washed up, and when they break the streak in two weeks, he’ll have nothing left.
Rating: 86

-Match: Khali v. Truth
The yoga is not enough, and Khali can’t handle the Truth.
Rating: 68
Poor psych

-DDP thinks Barrett really didn’t need to stoop to taking Dutt out of MitB. Barrett thinks DDP is a washed up old hack. DDP is NOT washed up, he’s better than ever because YOGA.
Rating: 71

-Match: DDP v. Barrett
They’re pretty evenly matched, but Barrett gets cocky anyway and falls to the ROLLUP.
Rating: 63

-Chavo still wants to prove the value of the IC Title. It is to that end that he’s challenged the Hart Dynasty to this match, but he also wants to assert his dominance over Sin Cara.
Rating: 73

-Match: Cara/Harts v. Cody/Carlito/Hunico
His buddies aren’t tons and tons of help, but Cody’s able to manage a win anyway.
Rating: 67

-Match: Yoshi v. Chavo
Yoshi appears to have stepped his game up a bit, but Chavo’s still got this.
Rating: 83

-Henry sneak attacks Orton during an interview backstage!
Rating: 90

-Match: Taker v. Haas and Dibiase
Taker certainly seems capable of winning a handicap match after taking out this team.
Rating: 74

-Match: Zeke v. Brodus
Ho-hum win for Brodus.
Rating: 58
