#47:

-Match: DDP/Yoshi v. Barrett/Chavo
MitB could be a fun one this year. The Wasteland claims Yoshi.
Rating: 70

-Match: Cara v. Husky
Ho-hum match, with flippy doos winning the day.
Rating: 53

-Cody steps on to the ramp and applauds Cara’s effort. He thinks Cara would be a fine challenger for the IC Title! Cara looks a bit confused, until Cody points at the belt and at Cara and at the Wrestlemania sign. Cara POINTS~ back!
Rating: 67

-Match: Gail v. Natalya
#1 Contender lookin’ good as she gets the win.
Rating: 71
Great chemistry

-Henry’s still pretty mad at Orton. He says he’s the previous champ, and he’s entitled to an opportunity without all the stupid Chamber stuff. Orton shows up and says that kind of mentality is why Henry’s stuck in the midcard, and Orton’s in the main event. Henry’s five minutes of fame are over.
Rating: 88

-Match: Zeke v. Henry
Henry is INFURIATED by such comments, and takes it out on Zeke.
Rating: 69

-Match: Ryder v. Carlito
Pretty solid match, but CENA and CRYME TYME run in and take out Ryder, causing a DQ. They smack Carlito around a bit as well.
Rating: 72

-Cena attempts to drop a PIPEBOMB on Smackdown, but Rock cuts him off. The Rock knew this was going to happen, just like everybody knows everything Cena’s boring candyass does, so he came prepared tonight! Cena and Cryme Tyme will face Show and the Hart Dynasty!
Rating: 91

-Match: Khali/Whitmer v. Haas/Dibiase
The YOGA continues to pay off for Khali in the form of a win.
Rating: 50

-Match: Cena/Cryme Tyme v. Show/Harts
Tough match, but Cena pulls it out in the end.
Rating: 81

-Christian KNOWS he can beat Sheamus this time. There will be no stopping him. He just needs one more match, and he needs the title. He can do it.
Rating: 88

-Match: Sheamus/Orton v. Christian/Brodus
Christian may need this, but that doesn’t mean he can do it. He comes up just a bit short once more.
Rating: 86

-...but he CAN jump Sheamus after the match! Christian and Brodus lay a frenzied beating on the champ once Orton wanders off.
Rating: 80

Post-show: Awesome Truth promo (96); Rock/Taker d. Truth/Miz (72)

Overall: 80 lol angles

FROM THE BOOKERMAN

-....man, 80 isn’t a success? That’s rough.

-Teddy wasn’t cutting it, and to an extent neither was Laurinitis. I’m not sure what they’re doing after this, but they will probably be offscreen until at least Mania. I didn’t really want manager shenanigans in the streak match, anyway.

-Ryder/Carlito went better than expected! Was hoping for better from the MitB tag, but not that surprised, either.

NEWSWIRE

-Afa has retired.

-NJPW’s next tour will feature Jimmy Yang.

-Tully Blanchard’s first show at the helm of FCW turned out a mediocre 44. Mahal reigns.

-We wish Darren Young all the best in his future endeavors.

-FCW’s next show turned out a solid 54, thanks in large part to Jinder Mahal’s complete absence.

-RoH rocked the house with a 78- Venus/Yang stole the show over an excellent tag main event.

-NWA picked up its game for Wrestling Showcase, featuring Brown/Mack and Pearce/Watts for a 52.

-RoH Validation got a strong 79.
