I don't watch MTV or VH1 and I don't listen to the radio so....
I'm pretty sure that prevents me from knowing about 90% of today's modern musicians.
To be very honest, the internet is today's #1 source of music. Most people these days blow up because of the internet, radio play just adds to it.
