Terrain: Bastion Cliff

A cliff overlooking the sea. Below the cliff is a wide beach, gentle waves hitting it every so often. Above on the cliff, however, is the remains of an old military fortress. Decimated after a grueling battle, the fortress seemed to be cut in half, with a deep gouge on the earth in the center. The fortress was abandoned, devoid of it's weapons and personnel, and even the fallen have been moved.

The beach and the fortress are separated by sheer height, and the only way up or down is by climbing the cliff or using the rickety elevator system of the fortress. At the start of battle, one of the elevators is on the beach, and the other is in the fortress.

The fortress itself is a 3 story stone outpost, with plenty of rooms and rubble to hide with. Falling off the cliff is enough to kill a normal human being. Away from the fortress is an endless grass plain, though the earth around the fortress is devoid of any plants.

Contestants start off randomly, either on the beach, in the fortress, or on the grass plains

Terrain: World's Core

The World's Core is the seat of power for the rulers of the planet, the Order of Magnuz. These non-descript beings control and monitor their world from the very center of their planet. For some reason nobody's here at the moment, and the machinery is set on auto.

The contestants are fighting on the inside surface of a completely spherical arena. In the center lies a completely solid sphere, the center of that planet's core. The shell of the core is a very dense solid metal, and within it is the planet's heart, the culmination of all potential energy of the planet. Every so often a beam of light pierces fires from the core and strikes a rod on the outer sphere's inner surface, a crystal, or strikes a Magic Circle. The Beam itself is slightly larger than it's target, so if a contestant stands too close, they can get hit by the very power of the planet.

The surface is littered with various consoles, energy rods, monitors, crystals, and magic circles. The consoles and monitors are used by the Order to control the core and manipulate the planet, but it is currently set on auto. The consoles use an alien language, though if one is diligent enough they can figure out how to use it. Random button pressing is unadvisable, as there's no telling what it will do. It might even start the tearing the planet apart. Destroying too many of the consoles will start a chain reaction that will do exactly that.

The rods collect energy from the core to power the machinery, while the crystals are portable energy sources that are recharged with each blast from the core. Simply chip a piece the size of a battery away, and you can use them to power an entire city for a year. The Magic Circle is used to go from the center of the earth to the next ring of the Order's domain, though in this case they don't do anything and just show where a contestant should NOT stand.

Gravity is weird in this arena, as long as you don't jump too far, you'll stick to the outer surface. Go too far from the surface and get too close to the sphere, however, and the anti-gravity and livable atmosphere is negated for that contestant. They're pulled by the intense gravitational pull of the core, and suffer intense heat almost as hot as the surface of the sun.

Contestants start from opposite ends of the inner surface.
