Okay so I have a new house.
There were half a dozen sheep in the area but I didn't have time to track them down. I also built it next to a mine.
And there were two largish "normal" trees in the area. Slept in my bed (woo!) woke up and spend the day cutting down those trees from the top down (lots of leaves) and so I have 25 saplings from those 2 trees.
Questions
1) How to I round up sheep or whatever so I can have a steady supply of wool?
and
2) How far apart should I plant the trees? How long does it take for them to grow?
3) Farming?
Iirc they will be lured by you holding some wheat, as will other animals. Lure them into a fenced off area with a gate so you can get in an out, but they can not.
Trees can be almost right next to each other, it shouldn't matter much. Turn bones you get from killing skeletons into bonemeal and instagrow the trees.
To farm, get a hoe and click on dirt blocks close to water. Plant the seeds of your choice. ???. Profit.
