^Yeah, when I first got the Internet in 96, we only had one phone line so we had to be careful about when we logged on. I always had to disconnect the phone to plug the modem into the phone line. It wasn't until we got DSL in 2000 that it wasn't necessary anymore.
Until then I was allowed to be online for exactly one hour per day.
Before 96 I sometimes went with my dad to his work, and they had some fast Internet and his office always had an open computer. I was always going onto the Nintendo website and looking up guides and cheats for any game that I owned.
