No need to put professional in quotes. They are people who make a living by writing game reviews. They are by definition professional, regardless of what you think about their opinions. Also, they're just opinions, You find a professional reviewer (or website) who's tastes are similar to your own, and you take their views into consideration. I love the hell out of Giant Bomb and their staff, but I disregard everything they feel about the vast majority of games because outside of Vinny (who doesn't write reviews) their tastes don't match up well with my own.
Professional reviews are no worse than fan reviews and are often better simply because they at least have experience writing reviews and know the things worth writing about, as well as the fact of having played more games than the average person and giving them a better perspective.
