I don't either, I use a full force stomp of a 160 pound human, they still manage to survive.
you need to twist your foot and grind them into the ground for a while, my rule of thumb is that I try to kill everything that comes into my house 5-10 times even if it's already clearly dead...probably helps that I have 25 pounds on you too
