I kinda wonder why you Americans use AIM, as far as I know pretty much everybody else uses like MSN.

I'm just wondering why it's used pretty much only there, MSN would be understandable since it's older, but AIM? Like why did it become more popular than MSN?
Unless it's only a b8 thing, which could be possible since the only Americans I interact with are b8ers.
