Yeah, Recca's a must-play for any shmup fan. People don't often realize that the grandfather of all curtain shooters originated on an 8-bit platform!
And holy ****, some really good recommendations in this topic. Little Magic in particular is incredibly addictive; up to Stage 18 now, and already I've been tempted to consult an FAQ.
