And the only reliable way to get rid of them - Adept-level AoE or Cloak Destruction spells - is just plain overkill.

I was going to add that they also removed Water Walking, but apparently they did add a single item with Water Walking in Dragonborn. But that's literally the only source of Water Walking in Skyrim apparently.
