I was worried .380 would be too little stopping power but I tested it with my friend and it went through a metal sign no problem. That combined with hollow points should be fine for basic defense. The thing I love the most about it is how lightweight it is, very portable and easy to use. Lot of people will tell you to get a 9mm, but the difference in stopping power is negligible. I can pop off a mag of .380 with much better grouping than my 9mm, idk if it's the free floating barrel on it but I just like the recoil on the .380 more. The only thing I don't like about the .380 is ammo is impossible to find, 9mm is everywhere --- "You go.
