What's worse about the game is that apparently, almost NONE of the moves that weren't in the original Diamond & Pearl can be used in it. I was looking up info on Bulbapedia, and regarding Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, almost every move's description is basically, "This move can't be used in this game. Get rid of it." despite being useable in Sword & Shield.

So you can't even bring over other Pokmon and their new moves to enjoy. It's pretty much a solitary, stand-alone experience, cut-off from the rest of the series.

Its sad how poor gamefreak and pokemon company handles their most beloved title of all time. Instead of putting more effort and time to give the fans a truly polished remake with all the bells and wistles like what they did in Oras with mega evolution. We got a barebones remakes of diamonds and pearl which only has 400 pokemons. Yeah we get legends but at what cost? The next gen 4 remake probably will be more strip down version than bdsp.
