An Indonesian virgin has escaped serious injury after inserting a two metre long nylon string into his penis in a bizarre masturbation game gone wrong.
The unidentified 37-year-old patient, went to a hospital in the capital of the Indonesian province of East Java, Surabaya, after suffering from abdominal pain for two hours.
The man, who had obsessive compulsive disorder, notified medics the string became stuck in his penis after he inserted the foreign body into his urethra while erect and watching porn.
Doctors failed to dislodge the string after performing a bladder irrigation a procedure where fluid is flushed through the catheter into the bladder.
After inserting a camera into the patients bladder, medics discovered a black bundle of nylon strong and successfully removed the blockage with tweezers.
The patient recovered from the ordeal and was kept in hospital for two days for monitoring.
In Radiology Case Reports, medics said the practice of inserting objects into the urinary bladder, such as matchsticks, pencils and hair clips, for sexual pleasure or due to drug abuse or psychiatric problems are relatively rare.
Medics claimed the practice, known as sounding, can damage the sensitive tissue in the urethra pathway and lead to inflection and lack of bladder control.
The action can even require urgent surgery or implants to reconstruct sensitive reproductive tissue. However, men who insert items into the opening of their penis for heightened sexual pleasure, often delay seeking medical help due to embarrassment which increases their risk of bladder stones, sepsis and urinary tract infections.
It comes after a 30-year-old man in Michigan, United States, got six kidney beans stuck inside his penis. Medics removed the objects after they stretched the mans urethra open and dislodged the beans using surgical tools.
