| emblem boy 02/12/22 9:10:51 AM #59: | Feels like part of it is that people who are accomplished from working out (or really many kinds goals), see themselves succeeding as proof anyone can do anything, and they extrapolate that mindset to other things. They lose a bit of humbleness. They've gone through a journey in which their hard work was needed and they succeeded. So if people aren't successful in other things, they must be "soy boys" or whatever. Obviously this is a generalization but I think it's some of it.
