Many of the problems in the OP are apparent whether you watch the news or not. I dont need to watch television to know that prices of every day items are going up. Cost of housing and vehicles has exploded to insane levels. Some areas have homes selling $200k over the asking price which was previously unheard of. My vehicle is apparently worth more now than when I bought it 3 years ago brand new.
