I guarantee the land that $950k house in his totally true and I'm sure not made up at all because nobody lies on the internet story sits on probably accounts for a large chunk of that value. Anyone that has even casually dipped their toes into real estate undertands this and has seen it on Zillow dozens of times. Unless that house has history there's no way a basic ass home increased 10x in value to almost $1m, it's the land. You can always build another house, can't make more land.
