Youtube does what it does for the ad people these creators are trying to link arms and laugh down at everyone else with. Everyone using the site feels the brunt of most of it. I never liked how most of the focus is on people who're already yelling at you to follow them on 5 other websites including a patreon like they're the real victims, or targets here. The videos they get to make complaining are free easy content alone if they can rile their following up.

Those spam videos for money creators are happy to participate in the worsening of the site and rake in a few bucks but they freak out when the site's drastic or sudden changes affect them. Contort to any shape if it means the people using the site can't get your obnoxious mid-screech expression out of their recommended feed with a heap of ads stashed behind the image and surrounded by... pretty much nothing worth watching. If there's blame to be distributed they're getting an equal amount to the site itself

I never denied youtube does what it does for the advertisers benefit. Nothing it does is to help the viewer or creator, but if creators want to maintain a platform and income, they have to do what they have to do. Only a lucky few can defy this with how youtube has purposely built themselves.

And the real solution is to just watch the millions of other content creators who don't do what you think is an utterly unforgiveable sin. And if a five second "like and subscribe etc." at the end of a video really bothers you then I dunno, that sounds like a you problem. I manage to just ignore it from the ones I watch that do it. Several do shitty clickbaity thumbnails, but then I'm not sure I pay any attention to the thumbnail of those I'm subscribed to anyway as they aren't targeted to subscribers, but the algorithm and getting new people to click. And their content doesn't reflect the clickbait thumbnail, as those that maintain that idiocy into their videos are pretty awful, I agree.
