I think they were trying to show off that Boba and Mando are on the same page; they're just different. Mando has better weapons, but Boba still manages with what he has. It's a two way "Look at how awesome he is!". Boba is able to keep up with Mando, and Mando can keep up with Boba. Disney Boba.
