I've only seen Dune and Don't Look Up so far. Don't Look Up was not very good and doesn't deserve the nomination. Dune was also kinda underwhelming. Pig and The Green Knight were both much better movies.

I'll probably try to see the rest of the Best Picture nominees. Drive My Car, Licorice Pizza, and Nightmare Alley were already on my to-watch list. The other categories have some potentially neat stuff jumbled in there as well, like The Tragedy of Macbeth and Flee. I didn't even know about these movies until today. I've been so out of the loop.
I wanted to love The Green Knight, but it was sooooo slooooow. I loved Dune, and I did like Don't Look Up, but personally would not have given it a nom. There is a subset of the academy that loves Adam McKay (see the Big Short and Vice as examples)

Oh and Nicolas Cage was great in Pig, but I wouldn't nominate the movie as a whole.
