The first one holds up in a lot of ways but yea the action seems quaint and the soundtrack too imo. the second movie Ive seen a million times and imo its a huge mess and completely dropped the ball on a lot of the more intriguing aspects of the first. The third is a little better than 2 as a movie but has the unfortunate task of trying to end everything the first two set up and the result is not very satisfying --- I pray god will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in truth ...
