Topic	We need to come up with a name for the "Souls-like" genre.

Most genres do if someone has no video game knowledge and Metroidvania requires more than most because it's much more specific than most genres (and really it's a subgenre anyway, and a specific one even at that). Personally I don't really get the sense that Souls-like is even a genre/subgenre so much as it is a design philosophy that can apply to many different genres?
