| Topic | Were you a fan of the g.i. joe cartoon movie from the mid 80s? Spoilers? |
| ReaperCloud 02/04/22 11:57:01 PM #17: | Watched both movies as a kid...well probably teenager since they came out around 1987? G.I. Joe: The Movie was weird. All the Sci-Fi with the pods and the B.E.T. was cool, but Cobra-La was like a crazy fever dream. I could never stand Sgt. Slaughter as a Joe (or as a wrestler) so he ruined it the most for me. Poor Cobra Commander didn't deserve what he got... Transformers: The Movie was terrible to me. Killing off popular characters or drastically changing them wasn't cool in my opinion, but I knew what they were doing...making new toys to sell. Seeing Devastator was nice. Wasn't a fan of Unicron or the song that everyone seems to love so much..."The Touch." G.I.
