Ferrari red typically means bleeding right there, hemorrhoid or a cut or something. Darker blood means it's further up the tubing. Similar with vomiting blood: if it's bright-red and just a little it's probably just a little cut somewhere, if it's like coffee grounds it's being digested and something is not right.
