The timing also makes no sense to me as Wolverine hasnt had a movie in years and the MCU isnt at its peak like during Infinity War years. I dont get why devs want to spend all this time developing single player games that wont move consoles. Multiplayer games have much more replayability and generate money through microtransactions. They also just move consoles more. Theres also a much bigger audience to be reached versus fans of a specific hero in a specific universe.
