Pure heart just speaks more to being an open book to one's motives. Gokus actions literally are not those of a hero. The Young Justice series actually put a spin on the "pure hearted" misconception as well with a twist of one of its villains. Even pretending to fall on thinking it meant he has values of a good person, his actions speak far louder. His actions show he values his own fun over the innocent lives of people, universes, and his own family and friends. He is willing to happily get them killed so long as he can have fun fighting. The importance of their well being is an afterthought to his fun. Intentions may be pure in the sense he's not hiding his motives, however its definitely not actions of a good person who isn't selfish. ... Copied to Clipboard! |
