It carries cash very well. More often than not I don't have cash on me these days, but I've many times carried in the range of 5+ bills at a time, twice folded so they fit neatly to the shape of the wallet, with zero concern that anything was insecure. The strap has plenty of tension without being a pain to get anything in or out from under, it's actually really easy. There's also the clip option instead of the band which seems fine too.

I'm pretty convinced that this, and presumably many of the other, knockoff Ridge clones are not only the exact same design but same quality components, just for way less than the Ridge which has marketing everywhere.

I read plenty of reviews back then, and the only thing I remember some of the cheapest knockoffs lacking was beveled edges where the two sides meet together, which is important so your cards slide in easily. Mine and I'm sure most or all of the others in the ~$20 range have them.
