If you read about quantum computers they talk about increasing the "threshold" of error, but it's annoying how they fail to mention it's something like a limit that approaches around 65-75% and fundamentally will never reach what they want it to. they promise infinite computing in an instant. like... get fucking real. it's literally like promising a perpetual energy device.

they are a curious physics experiment, but they are also a con. we shouldn't invest in them, only study them like anything else but absolutely accept that they will not have a commercial application in the sense of providing infinite or near infinite computing.

entangled bits would, on the other hand, be pretty awesome and allow for faster-than-light communication.

We can 100% theoretically entangle 2 computers and put one on Mars, have one on earth, and that would allow us to instantly communicate with someone on Mars.

You don't have to entangle the entire computer, just however many bits you want.

I missed the part where that's my problem.
