I feel like most of the acclaim it got was because people saw the Ghibli logo at the start and went in thinking "Oh, this must be a great movie". Yeah. Ghibli is very hot or cold in terms of making either a whimsical and fun anime film, or making something dry and dull. This was definitely the latter option. --- Touch fuzzy. Get fuzzier.
