Though I initially overlooked the part where they said that the incident gave them PTSD. Compared to the person they were mistreating next to against their will, who's had they put on their junk while they slept, and after they disabled alarms this other person set specifically so they wouldn't fall asleep together.

They're trying to play the PTSD card over the sexual violation they committed.

Well, I had this thought come to my mind, that after having (repeatedly) violated the other peson, the mod has come to the conclusion that it would have never happened if they were the opposite sex. This kind of ties into the PTSD defense, where I think they are downplaying their own accountability and seeking sympathy and defenders by presenting themselves as a victim (and a protected minority).
I'd like to think I'm way off the mark, but I cannot shake my doubts about the mod's sincerity.
