There's also "box tickers" whose sole purpose is to make sure other people are doing their jobs.....which wouldn't be necessary if you just hired the right people in the first place. Middle management as a whole is pretty much useless in most organizations and are just paid big bucks to tell other people how to do their jobs, even if they've never done them themselves. --- I have nothing else to say ...
